Foreign Minister of Bangladesh pays courtesy visit to Minister Ganoo

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, Ambassador Masud Bin Momen paid a courtesy call on the Minister of Land Transport and Light Rail, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Regional Integration and International Trade, Mr. Alan Ganoo, today, in Port-Louis.

The High Commissioner of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh to Mauritius, Mrs. Rezina Ahmed, was also present.

In a statement, Ambassador Masud Bin Momen stressed that he had a fruitful meeting with Minister Ganoo, adding that the discussions focused on the excellent bilateral relations between Mauritius and Bangladesh.

He said they also talked about the guidelines to take forward the initiatives that Bangladesh had taken after assuming the chairmanship of the Indian Ocean Rim Association.

Other topics namely tourism, fishing and aquaculture were also at the center of the discussions in order to promote cooperation between the two countries.
