FORT COLLINS, Colorado — A 61-year-old Fort Collins man has been arrested on felony threatening charges, biased offenses and breach of commitment after allegedly drawing a gun and directing racial slurs at another man.

Just after 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, the Fort Collins Police Department received a call from the victim saying he was hiding from a man with a gun at the Briarwood Apartment Complex at 172 Hillcrest Drive.

The victim reported that Lawrence Roth threatened him and made derogatory racist remarks. Roth then left the area on a bicycle, police said.

The officers were able to locate Roth and took him into custody. He was sent to the Larimer County Jail.
